How to Become an NTRLS Member Library
NTRLS Membership is now open to academic, school, government and special libraries, in addition to public libraries. The Texas State Library and Archives Commission accredits libraries on an annual basis; accredited libraries in the North Texas area are eligible to apply for NTRLS membership.
Why become a member? You'll have a voice at the table. You'll have a System representative that can vote at System business meetings on important issues such as bylaws revisions and budget issues. You'll have a vote in electing members to the NTRLS Board of Directors. You can attend regional meetings and System Assemblies to advise the System staff on what programs and services should be offered each year. There is the potential to participate in consortium pricing programs and save funds through volume purchasing.
Applications for membership for FY2011 are due at the Texas State Library by April 1, 2010.
